Giti tyres
The history of GiTi Tire began in 1951, in Singapore. Back then , the company manufactured tyres and tubes for bicycles, and later expanded its product range to include cross-ply tyres for utility vehicles and cars. It was only in 2000 that the production of car tyres was launched in the new factory premises in China.
Since April 2011, GiTi tyres have held a 49.7% share in the listed Indonesian tyre manufacturer Gajah Tunggal. GiTi Tyres has also had a plant in the USA since 2014. Since 2017, GiTi tyes have also been distributed within Europe. Nowadays, GiTi tyres operates eight plants, and its products are sone in more than 130 countries.
