The tread pattern ends just before the edge of the tyre shoulder to create an optimum contact patch at maximum lean angles. The MC 50 tyres are classed as high-speed bias ply tyres.

In developing the compounds, Mitas’s ultimate goal was to achieve maximum road grip in all weather conditions as well as an optimally balanced tyre life. These compounds contain specific new raw materials, such as recently developed S-SBR elastomers and highly active fillers, that are combined with special small chemicals.
