Description
The new tread design offers a high negative tread ratio and particularly deep tread grooves in the centre of the tyre for maximum performance in wet conditions. The Roadsmart uses two new compounds, each with specially developed silica. This results in an excellent balance between maximum wet grip and high mileage. The latest generation of polymers ensure a longer tread life, whilst also offering maximum grip. The Front Jointless Belt (JLB) design reduces the strain on the sidewall, thereby providing better feedback and consistent handling. The Flex Steel Jointless Belt (FS-JLB) design uses adapted JLB cord density between the front and rear to provide outstanding self-damping, driving comfort and good stability. The optimised adjustment of the contact area in different lean positions offers smooth handling during very sporty riding.
