Reifen ist ein guter Kompromiss, wenn es mal etwas grobes Gelände sein soll, aber die Anfahrt auf der Straße erfolgen muss. Die DAKAR Version ist bretthart, den bekommt man kaum von Hand umgezogen, dafür kann man ihn zur Not auch ganz langsam ohne Luft fahren, wenn man mal einen Platten gefahren hat. Bei Schlamm hat er auch seine Grenzen, besonders der Vorderreifen aufgrund des relativ flachen Profils

Der Mitas ist ein schöner Stollenreifen. Packt gut im Dreck an. Nachteilig ist, wie alle Stollen, dass er sich flott abbaut. Die Laufeigenschaften sind für einen Stollenreifen wirklich spitze. Das Abrollgeräusch ist deutlich leiser als z.B. ein K60 Scout.
